Apologies, but I'm never sure where Newton-le-Willows ends and Earlestown begins! I just noticed it's been referred to as Earlestown on previous posts. It showed again at around 08:20

The Black Redstart was on the roofs of 6-8 Brookfield Street, Newton-le-Willows at 08:10 this morning

A black redstart in Earlestown was just too tempting to pass by, though I didn't have any great expectations of seeing it. Fortunately though we picked it up pretty quick, on a chimney in Brookfield street. Only my second black redstart in St Helens.
